The use by third parties of all published contact details for the purpose of advertising is expressly excluded. We reserve the right to take legal steps in the case of the unsolicited sending of advertising information; e.g., by means of spam mail.

What personal data we collect and process

  • If you are only using the website for informational purposes and you do not provide us with information, we will only collect the personal data that your browser transmits to our server. We use the plugin Complianz to detect our and third party cookies. See our Cookie policy for more detail.
  • We collect and save personal data if you choose to send us an email through our website. Personal Data will include your name and e-mail address. If you choose to buy one or more tours, the Personal Data may also include, without being limited to, phone number, billing address and credit card number.

How we use the personal data

We process and store your personal data:

  • to answer your questions and/or remarks and improve the handling of your request. All personal data is expressly provided on a voluntary basis and with your consent, meaning consent of Article 6 (paragraph 1 a) of the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). You also agree that we may, where appropriate, contact you via e-mail address or telephone number to answer your request or facilitate the realization of our services. You may of course revoke this consent for the future at any time and your personal data will be deleted.
  • to detect and prevent fraud and other illegal or unwanted activities. The legal basis for this is Article 6 (paragraph 1 f) of the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

How we share your personal data with third parties

Unless we are legally obligated, your personal data are not passed on to third parties outside the scope of fulfilling our contract. In these cases, however, the extent of data transmitted is kept to the necessary minimum. For hotel reservations, for example, your name and address must be relayed to the hotel. The legal basis for this is Article 6 (paragraph 1 a to c) of the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

We hereby expressly point out that the transmission of data via the Internet (for example by email) can be subject to security vulnerabilities. It is therefore impossible to safeguard the data completely against access by third parties. We cannot assume any liability for damages arising as a result of such security vulnerabilities.

How long we retain your personal data

After completion of the contract, your data are blocked against further use. After expiry of deadlines as per tax-related and commercial regulations, these data are deleted unless you have expressly consented to their further use.

We will retain and use your information to the extent necessary to comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our policies.

Applicable law and jurisdiction

Any dispute arising from or related to the use of this website or to the acceptance, interpretation or observance of our Privacy Statement shall be submitted to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent court in Germany, which shall apply German law.

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with an independent supervisory authority ex. Chapter 6 of the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
